Look what Paul said about Philemon in verse four:
“I always thank my God as I remember you in my prayers”
Ephesians 2:10 — For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
If you want God to work in your life, then you need to tell Him so. You need to allow Him in work in your life and you need to make time for Him. Know that there is nothing more important than Him and His work.
1 Peter 5:6 — Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.
There is a proper time for everything. Trust God’s timeframe.
Exodus 33:11 — The Lord would speak to Moses face to face, as one speaks to a friend. Then Moses would return to the camp, but his young aide Joshua son of Nun did not leave the tent.
If two friends are talking and spending time with one another, they don’t even notice the passing hours because they love each other and enjoy each other’s company.
You would not give a stranger personal details about yourself, but you would tell a good friend anything. As you spend more time with God and enjoy His company, He will reveal Himself and His heart to you.
